but the 2871 dont pull out top end like the gt30

if you run a resonable amound of boost with a 2871 it would be a far better turbo! if you need to run over 1.3 bar to get decent power you shud try another map!!

its not that you need to run higher boost to get the power as im not disputing the power output of these turbos,like i said there good for what they are,but the GT30 imo is a better turbo,each to there own at the end of the day.its about the power your planning on.the way i see it a 2871 or a GT30 both at 1 bar the gt30 is gonna develop more power and to me is a better turbo so its not all about running high boost,bigger turbos develop bigger power simple.

anyway i think we should get back on topic to a great project as we have talked about the turbos enough,its up to bart to decide what turbo he chooses,any one any more questions about turbos,pm me no probs as to not to clog up barts thread
