    Pipes round the rong way shouldnt cause the engine to go bang, itl only mean the oil goes through the cooler befor the filter and through the filter the rong way, it wont restrict the flow. If i wer you, id check for a more in depth/underlying probs or you might be doing the same again in a few weeks.
    Also, if the bearings have ran on the crank, i bet you €100 if you mesure the jernal properly its fooooked

    bart dat is hard fukin luk lad!!!! but polo's right!! ive never seen a set of bearings go without doin damage!!! even if the crank looks mint its still got damage!!

    i was told that the filter was only a one way flow?
    would this not just stop it altogether??
    as for the crank.
    we measured it tonight and its spot on...
    colm on here might be able to say exactly what it was

    What you measure the joural with & who did it?

    you send it down to a shop tonight to get it measured actually & properly by a mechanical engineer ?

    Amazingly enough my uncle is a mechanical engineer (Lc Engineering) and he does these everyday of the week...

    So yes i do actually know a bit about what im talking about here & see it all the time when im in the workshop!
