mondello is always quiet for drift days during the summer coz of all the other events they have on. they normally put on a drift day when they have a free day with nothing else on. it was the same last year

I know I rang them last Friday and they said it would be the August bank holiday weekend so I don't know what they are at up there!

i also rang and they said maybe 19th of august but that they where not sure as they dont get many for drifting anymore??????
so i said thats prob because all the last few times its been on the same dates as other events!!

Its because they put the tyre bales on the track!!!!!!! and wet the corners!!! There is plenty of other practise days providing better conditions for drifting at more than reasonable prices so why would people go there anymore?! Its their own fault as drifters have been going on about this since they started doing it but they haven't listened or taken anything on board or even tried to come to a compromise.
No joke, the last day I clipped the bumper and thought to myself that I couldn't have been running that wide so I drove around the track slowly on the next lap for a look at the tyre bales and the one I clipped was not only on the rumble strips but a foot over it on the tarmac?! Your wheels should be able to run on the rumble strips!
I could be wrong now but this is my view anyway!!!!
