em...... are you sure thats done with that g25 wheel? i've been into rc drifting for god knows how many years and i only ever seen one guy do what your trying to do,and it certainly wasnt with a 200 euro wheel. (unless you have money to burn)
but i'd love to see how you managed to do it. (genuine interest)

To me it looks like its been faked but prove me wrong.

@Rob-Long: I seriously doubt il be using a g25 or g27 unless I am given one. But in theory it wouldn't make it more difficult to use a g25, just not needed. I have hacked a ps1, ps2 and ps3 controller in a program call "pure data" and although they become more complex they could all be programmed for basic functions.

But as said this is just a prototype video to gauge the interest in the idea and see is there any scope for improvement before I commit myself to doing it. Thanks for input.

@Grange: Not much since you seen it last man, he hasn't had much time. So doubt it will be out this season.

Made some progress over the week. A couple a days work has be up to this point. Logitech Wheel, steering RC car. - YouTube

Progress is not as fast as I wish as I have to spend more time on the supporting thesis as it is due first and demands a lot of time. Would love to just dive into it this fun stuff and get it done. So about a week ago Logitech donated a wheel, changed to an old chassis with simple on/off motors, pulled out all the electronics and replaced them with my own. Wrote a program to control the steering and linked that to the program that hacked the wheel.

Joey: Is there any good forums out there to get advice on parts and chassis and stuff? Was on RCGroups and it didn't really interest me.

Had to laugh at this , i know he's already said its a fake , but i looked at the video and was expecting a good fake like it might/might not be real
And then i saw the "driver" holding the wheel against the table and it wobbling all over the place, and i thought , your powers of perception are akin to Sherlock Holmes
