Was thinking the same lads. Just happened to have it there and it seemed the cheapest option.. A gt3071 would really be the job. Just don't want to be going power mad. Suppose I'll see how i'm fixed before I get the map, haven't even started and the wallets empty!

Was initially going to just put the 86mm pistons in but then I was thinking when everythings apart its worth it for the extra few quid getting the block bored for the 90mm. I'm sure they'll also be a bit more torque with 22 aswell

Ye i'm told 360 is pushing max flow with gtss. Dead right, bigger turbo..

Just a quick update.. no pics.

Ordered solid subframe bushes - the ones that bring the subframe closer to the body

Stripped everything but the engine, need to get the lift down to the garage the weekend and it'll come out

On the hunt for a rb25 box if anyone has, PM me

PS I just realized the 90mm pistons I got are for an sr23, dunno why I had 22 in my head, so all good

Got moving on stripping everything from the block. Took lots of pictures.. but mainly for us to remember how everything goes back together.

TDP are fair busy in the machine shop for the next 3 weeks so the block won't be bored for another while.

Going to start working on the rear subframe next, arms and subframe bushes, cut the the wheel well out for the fuel cell.

Theres just not enough hours in the day and it makes ya feel like you're not progressing.. mainly stripping!

I have been searching around for inspiration.. this is what I have in mind, maybe in yellow or red. The kit is fairly cheap.. Origin styling front and rear with origin aggressive skirts with a small boot spoiler, not quite rocket bunny.. bit more subtle

    Any opinions/input welcome

    cheers,
    Si
