Sr20det Rattle.

Well lads , , went to look at a 180sx yesterday and to be honest the car is mint and couldnt be faulted excpet for a rattle in the head between 2 and 3k revs then it seems to go out of it again. Could any of yee help me out here? Is it anything serious or could it be an easy fix??

are you shure it was in the head, sounds like the bottom end normall they rattle around the rev range.

id be thinking non vvt as its a 180sx,

NO, i dout very much now the 3 of them got an engine swap,, isnt it only the english s14's and jap s15 had vvt???

I agree wit ian on this one I think all 180s are non vvt. Mine is 97 and its none vvt. The never 14s and15s are all vvt I think
