your better of breaking the chaser and puttin that money along with the insurance money together and buying a yoke done already!its a buyers market now,if you have cash you'l get a yoke worth alot more than what you'l have to pay for it..there so many cars out there people have spent thousands on that are now gunna loose there bollix.ya can then spend some money on it changin it around to suit your taste..
builds from scratch take ages, and if you cant do the work yourself you just get let down by people, ripped off or half arsed jobs done half the time..just my 2 cents

Its a buyers Market really, but if you have people interested in your car, once the price isnt too low then I reckon you should let it go. Buy something already built or build something from scratch

If you went for an r32 4 door though I'd say 1j rather than sr IMO.

Personally if I was building a car, especially one you want to do drift days I'd love to build either an FC or PS13 with a V8.

All depends on what car you would really like. Also I'd not let tax rule your decision. Between an SR and JZ the tax is what, 2/300 per year extra? In the scheme of running either car I wouldn't imagine that's a hugely significant amount of money...

"its cool i guess, but where are the other 2 doors?"

a V8? shame on your Kieren

em id say you would break that chaser and buy a track ready Silvia....

but you theres nothing stopping you from taking on a crazy Project and using the engine and box from the chaser.

but id say just buy a new Drift Prepared car and then make it own with your style .

panch is comin to test fit the weds this week!! il lbuy more crazy wheels though as the ssr's should be gone this weekend too. ill still have 3 work rezax, and as mad as it sounds, id say the 4th could be repaired!

ridiculous amount of pms comin through for the chaser as is, just to let everyone know, i cant put a price on it as is yet, need to hear how much theyre lookin for it scrappage wise first. also, wanna see what kinda structural damage there is to it, bar the obvious!!

good point about the tax freddy, its not that much difference actually, think im a fookin miser!!!

    13b fc
    sr20 fc
    r32 4 door + 1jz
    r32 4door + sr20
    maybe kruizers rx7 (logbook anyone!...)
    or an s body...

the cost of puttin the 1jz into a liner might end up costin way more than i really wanna spend tbh. although i have the engine and that there already..

89k km's is all thats on it, was the tightest car i ever drove

I think r32 4 door with an rb25 or 26 in it. Way less work and just as cool imo. Still have the 6 cyl sound and with cost of puting the 1j into it youd have a farely savage rb engine.
