Before I even ask, no the answer is not sr20det

Anyone thats used ca18 before and has experience, what can be done to help prevent death? It is a standard engine. Differant oil pump...baffled sump....???

Do the bottom end bareings, baffled sump it will still die but not on its first day out

haha, shut up you! My old ca, the one jayconno had, i gave that uber death and never had any trouble at all with it! differant story with the RB haha

I cant see any pics in micks post? damn. But yeh, some thick oil and a filter, and maybe get one of the lads, maybe Dr. Gem , to weld in some baffles in the sump roundwood style

Not sure if the main cause is oil pressure loss for the CA or not, but they are recommended for the RB26.
