This is just rubbish. If you build a RB26 correctly then it will not keep the oil up on top. We have and still do work on many very powerful high reving RB26 engines and none have this mod all. In fact we have worked and machined parts for many world record setting RB engine and none of them had this mod.
If you need this mod then you need to look at other things first ? Like is you engine leak down excessive are you pistons rocking in the bore and letting the pressure in to the crankcase.
I have discussed this with many of the top tuners of RB around the world ( Abbey Motorsport, RB Motorsport, Top Secret, Power House Amuse, Mario, Croyden Racing Developments, and some more. They all agree with me. Build the engine properly and even with a Tomei up rated oil pump you can run 10000 rpms all day as long as your cams can do 10K.
The main reason for big end failures on RB engines is high mileage on old bearings or incorrect oil clearance / for oil grade.
