I didnt read soo much in a long time some very interesting points made. As for calls made yesterday I couldnt say because I was watching from the start line all day.

Really enjoyed yesterday and I must say I was lucky to win it, everyone was on form and i was struggling with the car, it took me awhile to get back in to it. Roll on round 2

Firstly on the judging,With a quick ref to Alan Vrs Dean @ Japfest last year,As I said on here before it was all set up for Dean to win until he knocked himself out!
Yes There was also a strong favoritism.

Dan,Admit you tie to prodrift and take your tongue out of their arse,Your a cousin of the owner, are employed and socialize with them,So take the brown off your nose and go back to bragging of being "head track marshall" to a group of kids I seen you taking to.Dont deny it,I have the video saved on my N95 and was also witness by 2 members on here.

Pro qualifying on Saturday was a joke imo,Darren #1????WTF? Was I the only one to judge it a poor lap? At least if your gonna push your brother through the series dont do it so blatant after a crap lap?

Darren,Sorry to see the car in tatters,Unlucky.

Sundays judging was quiet fair only for Kieren Hynes bigging up the Caark Massive,He's a joke to be fair,Last year he wasnt bad but this year fuck me hes off the wall!
Ian Bergo Bergin,I comend him on a job well done,Found him extremely biased last year making terrible calls but this year and rd 1 I found him spot on.

    Pedan,Excellent this year.And last.

    John Gibbons,Shoot that Cnut!

Thought Eric was very easy on the ear,Enjoyed hearing what he had to say!

Saturdays are far to jam packed,Left nothing for Sunday,€20 for16 drivers and €26.50 for a jack russell burger.C'mon.

Infairness I did enjoy the weekend,Some fine metal this year. Some excellent driving by alot of drivers.

Most improving drivers this year,Dan Moorhead,Shane Sullivan,Donal Fucking Garry Jesus he was unreal (still needs SR tho)!

Car of the Event and prob the year for me,Christys Phat Bitch S15,Fook that thing could cause cancer with the smoke,GTR ass and that car will be the one to beat.

Sinnott,Very deserving of 3rd place,Drove excellent all weekend-Needs to get grip tho to get the car to travel,You could see at the back of the tear drop where the S bodys were making ground on exit.

Colfer,That car is on the money,Hopefully last years bugs are gone,Steady,Excellent but safe drive all weekend.

James Deane,God,Truth be known Papa Deane and Mammy Deane must have conceived him in an Rx7,Jesus the car was made for him,He just puts it where he wants,Whoever said an RX7 was gonna be hard to drift obviously never ran it by him,Huge congrats on what was some show!Gonna take a good'un to beat you lad!

Overall a great weekend,Absolutely burnt to fuck now,Dyin in work all day!

Bring on the Punchestown,My local event.

Was gutted i couldnt make it, had ferry etc all booked but out of my hands prevented me

Heard there was a lot of Karnage, which is a shame, surely there has to be some way of tryin to save lads cars against a concrete wall while they're still Amateurs etc?
Lads breaking their balls building and funding cars only to be stuck with a pile of metal afterwards.

Weird there was a bigger crowd on sat, maybe because it was only a €10'er? and there was more to watch with dramas etc...

I was at JDM Allstars the wk end, savage savage driving including Luke Fink making the trip for the event, and it was only £10stg entry.
I feel the €20 entry fee's really need to be revised and encourage families to go to events for a day out, noone has the spare funds like they did a few years back.
The athmosphere and crowds were also great and in high spirits, even when there were track breaks due to monstor trucks breaking etc, well done to the commentators, Fussy was one of them

I really hope Citywest is publicised enough to make it the great event its lined up to be, as there seems to be plenty of UK interest for it (by talking and encouraging drivers over for it)

Judging is always going to be questionable, regardless of what series you look or compete in, and not everyone will ever always agree.
I do believe a change or addition to a judging panel can be a good input. Although you dont need to go to the extent of flying someone in to do this, and even if you had to, Ryanair are great!

There was no crowd there on the saturday, it was that the day was packed, practice for amateur and non seeded and also their qualifying and top 32, mixed with pro seeded practice and qualifying. Nearly non stop drifting on the track from 9.30 to 7.30 that evening. Sunday then had loads of spectators and had Pro (16 drivers) practice, Superlap and then the top 16.

I can't see why Superlap can't be gotten rid of and have pro seeded qualifying on Sunday with the judges giving results for the qualifying laps as they happen, like in D1 and Formula D. I think it would help the spectators get an idea of how drifting is judged and be able to get behind drivers and see how they are doing.
