Removing a Dump Valve

Right so, the dump valve is no longer annoying me. The car feels like it has about 40bhp extra for some reason. Like it's a whole lot perkier and torquey on part throttle around town. Even the girlfriend noticed it was a good bit quicker which is saying something. Any reason as to why the car is quicker??

Several reasons. Mainly to do with weight reduction.

A morning shit is generally bigger (thus heavier) then a shit at any time of the day so you may have been lighter.
The weight of the BOV has been removed
The air entering the engine would be happier (i dont know how true this is cos i just made it up but) and also thinner knowing its not being used to make a psssssssssssstttttttt sound and generally piss off passers by
After that maybe you were on drugs/pissed and thought it was quicker?

I kind of like where you're going with all of that, exept for the drink and drugs bit. I know it's dole day, but dugs are way too expensive for me. I was on the way home from acupuncture so maybe all the extra holes in me and the blood loss helped somehow???

Ah you see that was it. I knew there had to be a logical explanation. I hear Halfords are now selling stage 2 Accupunture upgrade kit, guaranteed 50+ hp, so I wouldn't bother with the doc the next time

Stage 2 would be way too much. I'm having enough trouble working my thumb as it is. The nerve is all twitchy and shit. haha But, hey, at least the car is faster.
