What you on about!? Rb20dets are ceramics, and standard cefiro has no recirc or atmospheric dumpvalve! Im sure nissan did some research and development on it!

All i know is ceramic turbo's running the "Pigeon Mod" are prone to being Damaged. I researched it before!

Mine has i assume the standard recirc i think. No dv or anything, but makes a lovely chatter on liftoff

I wouldnt risk it on standard twins, i like the standard sound, and as you said it should sound better when the bigger IC is on.....

....and better again when the car actually runs!

You dont need to take it off. Just pull the vacuum hose off the back and stick a bolt in it. Youl have your pigeon noise and the dump valve will block the intercooler pipe for you. Thats the way i have my 14 now.

I'm not a cunt, so thats my excuse.

Right so, the dump valve is no longer annoying me.

The car feels like it has about 40bhp extra for some reason. Like it's a whole lot perkier and torquey on part throttle around town. Even the girlfriend noticed it was a good bit quicker which is saying something. Any reason as to why the car is quicker??
