    Default elactrical problem s14a

ok lads my car is as low as it can possibly go and as a result the tire has eaten into the wires above the arch , so first my speedo goes along with the car poping more that usual then handbrake light stays on , then i smell burn so i pop the boot to look at the battery and its so hot its smoking, brought it out to the mechanic and a multimeter test shows the battery reading 18-20v so the altenator is overcharging everything resulting in fuses going in many places

question 1 - do i need a new altenator or is it overcharging because of the wires that are broke

question 2 - is it possible the extra voltage has made shit of my ecu???

any advice will be handy , cheers in advance

20 volts on the alenator the diode's are gone lad, that way your battery was warm or hot if you want,

well i say it could lad damage the ecu,
    rite al lad home,
rite you want get that alentor fix asap you end up burning everyting out
    bulbs will start blowing coilpack.................
reason for it there not designed for 20 volts

get the cables fixed too man
