What is the main Differences between The T25 and T28 and the t28 on the GTIR?
    Are all of these interchangable?
for instance can a 180 with a t25 take a t28 and will there be much difference in power

    yeah all interchangable.

28 and 28r are exactly the same size only the 28r came from a S15 and is ball bearing

Yeh there all garret. If you changed a t25 for a t28 you would see a nice bit of a difference alright. Especially if it was a t28r.

and would be perfectly fine with out needing anything else with it?
    as in supporting mod's?
what else would give an increase in performance but maintain reliabilty?

Wouldnt need any supporting mods and youd still have the same reliability as before. A front mount would help alot and a decent turbo back exhaust. Keep lots of air going to the intake manifold and get the gases out of the turbo quickly.
