gearbox redone again tonight, another autobox got the chop for a bellhousing, lol

all milled again.










welder turned a bit lower this time, 110 amps, so not as pretty but no cracks or warping so far, bolted to the engine this time while welding.

hi,

started the exhaust manifold, problem was: if turbo sits high 4 inch downpipe wont go down past 5 and 6 runners on right hand drive, so: turbo had to go low with manifold over the top of downpipe.

Nice tidy work, bet it took some time to make the manifold.!lol

yea, did the tapered pipes at the head with a tool i made for the press, then made the turbo flange and collector, did these over a period of time, then mounted the turbo and tacked the runners up in a day,with the mig, now the whole thing needs tigged. An evening or 2 should finish her.
