Got the replacement engine in wednesday evening and it started on the first turn of the key

Changed filters, oil, water went for a drive and it all felt great so happy days

As was waiting for 3 months+ for a seat rail decided to just make the standard one work with a normal bucket seat mount

It worked out well but the seat sits slightly higher than i would like but for now it will do

Delighted to have gotten the new engine in and running and the car feels good again, looking forward to fermoy now on sunday.

Well I took my engine out to do the clutch and I have a bit of welding to do as well.. so not this week. Where abouts are you based? Anytime you need some advice let me know on pm and I'll sort you out. They are an awesome car with a bit of power :-) my advice is to get a kit and a good ecu. Don't bother with rising rate regualtors or any of that if I were you. I have a megasquirt and its cool to be able to do your own mapping
