It wasnt a melted or cracked piston you mad thing, it needed a whole new wiring loom because the one that was in it was in bits and it got a new fuel rail and new injectors and shes being running fairly solid ever since, it was spraying the smallest amount of oil on your hand when you took out the dip stick, come on theres bound to be a small bit spitting out, sure it was in mondello last saturday, come up if you like again sean and do a compression test or whatever tests you like!!!

As aobove seen first hand that there has been a few lunatics working on this in the past. Engine looked very healthy when I was up there looking at it , good car overall imo. Objectively it needs a windscreen to go back on the road but I sold one recently for 50e, body is grand wouldn't be gone on the colour but ffs I'v seen lads asking 1500 for a rb25 on its own recently. Dunno why R33's have shot up in price just wish I'd kept a few. Bargain @2500 in todays market.... needs some flush bus leather though Richie![]()
No sorry ask any mechanic or anyone who knows anyting about cars back pressure means oil out dipstick and that should never happen. Only for that I'd buy it up myself mad looking sumtin for summer
Does it have a catch can on it? If it hasn't been checked and it is full it will cause that same problem with a small bit of oil out the dipstick....just do a wet test and check for blowby
Should have added, as Rory said, breather blocked will also cause that, wouldn't jump to conclusions
