My first track day (driftfest Rd. 1)

what an incredible weekend, finished the car at 1am the friday night, drove for nearly 4 hours to the hotel got their at 5am slept for an hour and back to the track for 7am.



Car ran incredible, the time, effort, blood, sweat and tear that went into making this happen is beyond believe, the team at DI Motorsport turned a finished road car and turned it into one of the most well preped chassis on the grid in 24days



The amount of knowledge and experience in Bob Stevens has is second to none his chassis prep and and wiring is impeccable

Jay rockett is a master at all things suspension and to everyone who struggled with grip in the wet, look at how we ran full throttle with great grip all weekend.

I was so excited to drive, i drove every lap as if the world was going to end, and this was my first ever day stepping foot out on a track, i played a bit on the streets before but was never let loose on a track.



Got seeded into pro after practice and was wicked nervous but had nothing to loose and went for it, got to go with a few awesome drivers in practice like barry henessey, nial greally and had an incredible amount of fun

went all or nothing on my qualifying lap didnt use the handbrake one flicked it in and full throttle all the way, made a balls of the second one but managed 13th

passenger laps i took very seriously as i had never done a comp or a track day i kept trying to better myself all the time

battles on sunday i missed briefing as i broke my diff and was changing it and i over took when i shouldn't off i thought he put wheels off but didn't care as the weekend was amazing

So for my first day out i learned loads, had a ball, met some great new people and looking forward to the next day out

Huge congratulations to Jay rockett also who went on and won pro even after breaking his offset rack space just before the battles started and ended up back with standard lock, incredibly talented driver

The 2 DI cars were awesome, wouldn't mind either as a road car they were so well turned out.
Driving was quality too, level of grip was clear to see.

Your passenger spins definitely gave the best value for money, I'd say there was some screaming from the 360's

HAHhaha i drove every passenger lap as hard as i could but yeah people we scared i has a huge smile, asked some chick was she nervous as she clearly was and she she said "No" I said " well I am " and floored it haaha she also got a 360 lol

Ali I love your car, IMO the sexiest car there!!! Awesome driving from you and look forward to seeing how you will do for the rest of the season!!
