Rite took this out late Sunday to meet which is about 10 mins down the road drove down fine was parked for few hours on way back was slidin a bit on back roads when got to house car was putting out white smoke but only at idle as soon as I'd accelerate it would go so thought turbo was on way out stripped it down n there is minimal shaft play n no oil anywhere not in intercooler everywhere dry going to try compression test tomorrow n see what that shows anyone any ideas what it could be

maybe it was cause of the new pope it was white smoke??ahh no it was blue smoke ted and forget to tell ya to check the PCV valve...

got bit further on this on turbo blowing i decided to change the oil pickup to the s14 one as it is bigger dropped the oil n sump n notice a washer in the sump fuckin bastard got in while the i had cam cover off when engine was out luckly enough only the turbo was causlty not the engine did full engine flush n checked the compression while i was at it

also took pf skirts to fix some cracks in them

while i had the turbo off i test fitted the holset looks sweet cant weight to get it on

ah what a few days got new t25 turbo in for trackday had setup the boost controller again n it desides to stop workin fri afternoon n track day sat managed to get a manual one of mini180 to get me out.

car went well no probs spent first few laps tryin sort out the boost could only get it up to 0.8 bar n the dye off back to 0.5-0.6 bar would not hold so let it as it was wcp had there dyno at track day so i put it up n see what was going on with the boost john from wcp was dead sound n didnt mind doing few runs to see could we get boost up n found that my actuator was fucked so results

it was my first time drifting on track n i loved it got ball for 3ed in few cornors n even without full boost it went like a rocket kinda edging this car to be full track car now going fittin the new holset next week n cant weight for it

ended up backwards down main streight luckly mate was behind me n locked up was a close one its on video somewhere was funny the faces that were made

been a while since i updated this interweb was on the brink
got busy into gettin new turbo fitted didnt take me long to get pipes mad up n downpipe made but got arse around by demon tweeks over samco hoses n had to remake the turbo to intercooler pipe as i wasnt weighting any longer

pic of it heatwraped ready to be installed

also bought new boost controller the old one was wel fucked hopefully i dont get any probs with this one

also got rocket arm stoppers n new waterpump i noticed it was gettin bit hot last day on track so hopefully this will help or might have to get bigger rad

got it all in n it looks sweet made heatsheild as downpipe is gettin near wires now

got oil cooler made up will fit it after mappin this week
