If you enjoy the movie it's worth checking out the Wangan Midnight anime series - only 26 episodes - very good watch

also worth checking out Megalopolis Expressway Trial - six movies in total - yet another very good watch

can't forget Shakotan Boogie either - four episodes - I believe there's a movie as well but I haven't managed to see it

I decided to watch Initial D from the beginning this morning. Being a while since I've watched it all through. Although I probably wont get through it for a while because I have 580 episodes of another anime called "One Piece" to catch up on. That's not car related though.

wangan midnight film is alright, so is the anime, neither have a patch on initial d though.

Initial d is good up till stage 4, then it gets brilliant! Have patience with it, it does draw out at times but stage 5 seems v good at the moment.wait till you see the boys pretending there project d, that's the best episode so far.very funny.

Started watching a couple episodes yesterday, somewhat hooked now haha. Will say that the resusing of certain scenes a couple times in an episode does get a bit tedious at times but still hooked haha. Quite a bit of detail in the information that they talk about at times too I gotta say!
