Wouldnt accept pay pal when buying a car either. especially not abroad.

For all you that get those kind of messeges be aware that letting the car be driven on the IRL plates can be illegal too if the buyer wont handel insurance on that particullar licence plate in his country/ EU ...... the seller would be responsible for the whole shit that could happen.

well but that shoulnt mean that everyone abroad pm ing you is a d*ck.

people on here might dont understand that its very very hard to find a 180 S15 aristo silvia basically all rhd jap imports outide of the UK

i actually would only sell the car cash to someone

ive done that too ..... registred the irish plates for travelling abroad on my name... and basically took an airplane to dublin and bought the car cash at the airport were i meet with the seller. After that we drove the car to the ferry and drove from france back home to germany. And now the tranny is broken.... shit happesn xD

also only give them them the information about the car that they need to regiter the irish plates not more.

most country will have to use that method because you cant drive trough france with your own ones .... also includes short time plates

to sum shit up dont let people scam you let the buyer ship you copys of flight tickets and so on and only sell cash with a ENGLISH sell contract dont sign any paperwork that is written in a other language.

Have sold cars to the uk, France and Germany. A deposit by paypal or into the bank is fine, then cash on collection etc. You'll get an idea yourself whether person is genuine or not.

I know it sounds dodgy and there is a fair chance it is but I'm unsure how it works as a scam with paypal. Once you have the money in cash in your hand, you let the car go, for it to be reversed the buyer would have to open a case with paypal, and if you have done everything above board, ho could they reverse the payment?
I sell stuff on ebay and use paypal all the time. I've been caught by their clause a few times. If you send an item regardless of whether it arrives or not but u don't have the parcel tracked the buyer is free to say they did not receive it and you haven't a leg to stand on. Paypal will automatically side with the buyer if the seller does not have proof of delivery. Using paypal your basically appealing to a buyers good nature not to shaft you. That's how they work for their transactions.
