Reconditioning turbos

Looking for some information on reconditioning turbos. Like you do ye use?? I think there are 3/4 company's here , but who are best?? Also what's a ruff price guide . I know the price would depend on how bad turbo is, I.e , broken shaft, fucked oil seals, fucked bearings, fucked compresser wheel, fucked turbine wheel and so on. Like if you had to do oil seals, what did you pay , and who done the work?.
Also , is there any way that a T25 can be improved ? Or I'm I best of buying a T28.
I don't have any turbo troubles, I'm just asking. If I don't ask, I won't know.

I got my s14 turbo rebuild last week it shit itself completely !!! Seals ,shaft , bearing all bolloxed anyway got it rebuilt by a crowd called turbo-tech €380 all in and a new compressor wheel gives good warranty to.

you would be looking around 400 for a basic re-build, as you said new compressor wheel and other bits are extra,, genune parts can be got and build it yourself but you still have to get balanced, as for improving the t25 you can get cut-back blades and get a 360 deg thust bearing fitted,, not worth it tho as t25,s go for 80-100e now,, far better off with a t28

A brand new GT2860R ball bearing turbo is only €679 + vat. Direct fit and will do 360-370 bhp all day long.

We can also get you a ball bearing core for your turbo if you still want a T25-T28. I will need the part numbers from your turbo to quote you.
