Completely off topic I actually have your old golf, I have her almost a year but I've always wondered what that switch under the heaters is for , have you any idea or was it put in by the lad after you?

Haha no way i was mad looking on donedeal for it the last year to see where it went, last i seen it was in mayo, that switch is for the foglights if its the silver flick down one, there was no other switch there put if you lob up a pic it will refresh my memory, Hope she is treating you well i remeber looking at it driving away with the new owner it looked so bad ass i was going to ring him up and buy it back LOL.

I wanted to buy it off you when you had it but couldn't scrape the cash together , but ya I bought it off the lad in mayo in December last year , he was complete wanker and plastered stickers on her but I got rid of them
I love the car but on my birthday last year some spastic in a truck side swiped her , he didn't do much damage like nothing structural at all but I couldn't afford to put her back together for a while but have been building her back up and was driving her last week again finally she's in good hands anyway
Oh and is it you that is with the mcg autostyling crowd or the last lads?

ya that was me with MCG, dont work for them or that just sent the picture into him and he uses it for promo. shit i sold that awful cheap as i was leaving for Oz about 3 weeks later or that you should have got onto me i would als strike a deal for a member, sold it to a guy in athlone. thats a bolox about the truck lad, if you are looking for a paint match or that its dragon green,

Fuck me that's so cool to see ill fire some pics up there tonight when I'm home from work ....I thought twas dragon green aright but it seems to be too dark a shade ...cause I flared the arches and had to spray them .....I know I'm hi jacking your thread big time here but its brilliant to hear and see some stuff about it cause the last lad who had it wad a tool but ill just ask how come the back axel is offset , there's way more poke on the passenger side , had she gotten a new quarter panel and was it you that took off the splitter , any chance u still have it if u did ?

ah thats no bother, dunno about that one i only noticed the time i put the wheels on it and brought it to my mate who reckoned it got a new quater at some stage and it was spurious and not a great fit as everything underneath was straight and it was tracking straight, so all i could do was lob a i think it was a 15mm spacer on the driver side to even it out,is the spacer still on her? ha the first drive out the road the splitter fell off and i drove over the driver side one, i repaired it its still somewhere i can dig it out but i cannot remeber the condition it was in.

Ya I was thinking that cause in fairness she's a good straight car so it had me confused but nope someone took that spacer , I must get one for her to even it out , looks a bit funny with one arch flared and there's only one of those yokes to change the centre bore left on her ( I cant think of the name if them) if you could dig it out I'd appreciate it cause I'd more than likely take it , twud really finish her off and I can't afford a new one , especially cause lads down round here would just nick the splitter

you mean the spigot rings LOL ya they where all on them too had to buy them and i think i through a extra one or two and a few other bits in the boot when i sold it. those xxr's came off Eric o Sullivan's ae86 so there is a bit of history in them LOL http://www.wreckedmagazine.com/blog/...86-500x375.jpg i can defiantly dig it out for ya mate no bother and ill get pictures onto ya at worst you can text screw it on
i cant remeber if it was exactly 15mm you might need to double check i tryed a few on until it looked right you might need to do the same.
all that car needed was a radio and speakers when i sold it, had some laugh driving it about lol
