I'd love to and if it was any other mx5 other than an rs I probably would but it would be a shame to take out a perfect rs engine like the one that's in it, plus il probably be keeping this mx5 as an everyday car and the rs will be cheaper/easier to run than the rx8, I do short trips to work which wouldn't be practical for the rx8 and I won't be afraid of putting high mileage on it traveling between cork and limerick. I don't know, would really finish off the car alright, make some job of it but don't think il be able to do it/afford it

    Quick update :

Chopped the bonnet, got the vents bonded and pop riveted on... Its ground down now and ready for filler / fibreglass :

Chopped up the RX8 spoiler and now have it flush with the lines of the car :

    Welcome anytime dude

Pulled the car out to have a quick look at the overall presence :

RX8 spoiler is now a three piece jobbie and has been fibreglassed back together, will be reinforced from underneath and finished off by the weekend.

Repaired all the rough spots on the rear bumper last night and primed them up, also primed the front splitter :

She is all happy again, big smiles

Got a dacant set of honda alloys bud to hold her off the ground while I start into the refurb of the Dori's :

Decided to clean up the lines on the overfenders and fill in the gaps, threw a bit of primer on just to make sure they look right :

Wt sanded the bonnet and gave it a shot of primer also :

Next up drivers side overfenders and the last bit of fibreglassing on the rear bumper

    Cheers Jay

Used some acid primer to cover up any bare metal that was cut for the over fenders
