    Default 200sx advice for buying ?

    Hows it going lads, heading out there later on to have a look and hopfully buy a 95 Nissan 200sx 2ltr turbo. for my first proper drift car, It seems to be standard enough and never on the track and only got NCT last week so cant to too bad.. but I was wondering if there was anything i should be looking out for before I can buy the car ?? Any information or advice would be a great help!

    If you can compression test the engine.

    cheers for that il try get a tester for it! the seller now wont be available till saturday so should hopfully get pick 1 up by then.
    so any thing else i should need to watch out for when its a standard car ?

    have a good look around the sills and rear diff mountings for rust, wouldnt do to buy it and leave the subframe out behind ya,

    Look for rust and eh rust.

    Get a comp test for sure, oh and check for rust.

    Did I mention rust :-)

    Boot, sills, mounts, floor, basically everywhere ha ha

    did we mention rust around the sills? also if you find newspaper in the sills thats also a no go zone

    awwwwh it depends on what newspaper it is tbh!!!! hahaha.the boys have it pretty much all covered above really lad.rust be the biggest problem on a 200 really

    Im not sure lads but I think ye are hinting to look for rust !! correct me if im wrong!? haha yeah cheers lads il look out for it alright

    also engine rattle bottom end or vvt,gear box grinding

    check the already said rust and just general slop in suspenion. the mounting points on the rear subframe can be a problem and gasket meeting the manifold to the turbo are prone to blowing
