lads ne1 no the story wit the nct and abs ive just finished a build strawberry faced 180sx anl my abs has ben disconnected from the the back discs including the pipework all the way up to the front... and i have 8 pot k sports up front wil i have to get all dis shit sorted and connected r if if i take it all out wud i get away wit it .....car is 96

If you get rid of ALL the Abs hardware and just insist it never had it you should be grand.

i was thinkin dat bt have they a record or neting dat can prove it had it

Tell them it has a two way diff and you don't want it brake tested because it will damage the diff.. It states in the fine print that it's well within your rights to do that.. As for the abs light in the dash clocks... If that doesn't come on with ignition and go off when the car starts it'l fail so wire it to the oil light switch or the charge light... Oxo...

i got away with this too ,just say will thier brake testing gear harm your 2way as it cost 600euros

8. The use of a roller brake tester is not appropriate on hybrid vehicles or on vehicles with a permanently engaged four wheel drive, limited slip differential or belt driven transmission.

they've no proper records like that, just remove the dash light, black out the writing and get rid of all other evidence.
Avoiding a brake test won't help with the dash light, if they see the abs unit or parts
they will go checking the dash light closely these days...
