    I would kill for the decent 200, Im stuck with a canon 75-300 that ruins every photo it seems to take, and the 1d mkII weights around 7 tonnes so that doesnt help... I flicking between 1/60th and 1/90th of a second to get my shots...

    ive got the 2.8 200 on my d300 so its twie the weight pal :S dont knock a standard lens though pal, i was shooting with a 55-200 f4 nikon up until this year and it never ever let me down, it always took great shots

    The 75-300 is grand, its just the focus that lets it down, sometimes it complete misfocuses and then has to start all over again, but hey, Im not gonna blame the camera, its me that needs improving not the camera and lens...:P
