No negative response from me. Just funny!
The problem is the way that the the majority of the general public portray the car scene in Ireland with a stereotype exactly like you are portraying in your feature film; this gets on lads nerves when they try so hard to not be associated with chav's and there Honda civic's going bap bap bap driving up and down the town 50 times a night!
I understand its fictional, but if its televised its just another bad thing for car enthusiasts in Ireland because its based on so called "illegal street racing" which is a load of bull.
The majority on here want to push drifting forward in a positive light as a credible motorsport and not be associsated or givne the same bad stereotype as what you are basing your film on.
This is not me having a go either, just giving the possible reason why you won't get much interest on here.

Too small of an audience, not many people have an interest. As we all know, you pretty much see the same faces all the time at Prodrift/Mondello Drift Days etc

The only way forward is sideways

What skinnynphats200 said in the above post has basically said what I think. From the pictures I've seen on the FB page for the film, I feel that it harks back to F&F maybe a little too much in the style of the cars and also reminds me of footage from the Primetime investigation into street racing/boy racers etc.

Also for me the use of the old words "boy racer" in your first post, is not the best way to win the attention of the members of a drifting forum, a lot of which would be in there mid to late 20's and drift competitively at drift series in cars which have had many thousands of euros and countless man hours spent on them.

I know I can't speak for anyone else or say everyone on here is a saint and it would be rich of me to do so, but as far as I know, donuts in cars parks, drag racing Peugot 206s against MK2 Escorts, and cruises aren't the main concern of this forum.

Now, what I am going to say is that I don't have a true opinion on the film yet and won't until I see it. I will be interested in the production side of the film and how it turns out in that area as I saw some interesting pictures on the FB page. So till then really. Oh and I will admit to it if I enjoy the film!

What I don't understand is that less than three months ago you were looking for cars and now the movie is a wrap?? :S

When this is released Gay Byrne is gonna have a field day with it!
