    Default SR86 Trueno Rebuild

    Have been wanting a sr86 for years and finally bit the bullet and bought a bear shell i want to have the car out for the end of april.
    The doner car is my s14.5 which is being broke tomorrow all i have been doing since i got the car is getting parts have nearly everything now to get the car rolling.
    Anyway here is a few pics to get ye started ye all know the car





















    I also Made a 34lt petrol tank in my spear time out of stainless i kept the filler pipe high to make it easyier for filling

    Amazing to think that car was only built less than a year ago and shes back on a spit already....! Best of luck with it nice bitta tig too...!

    Car was not as well put together as i thought it was anyway i have my work cut out for me to get it out in april it needs a cage in a bad way but i will stick with what is in it until the winter.
    I got the s14 fully stripped today

    For a car that was put together a year ago as it sits. it Doesn't look look like a yoke that was put together all that well,Best of luck with it ..Put it together right and it will be a competitive car

    Thats the craic she said with one leg on the dash and nothing on but the radio............

    Best of luck with the build, it was a cool looking car when chris was competing in it! The shell looks straight though.

    Shell will be for sale in the next few weeks dont know if i should strip off the 15 front and overfenders or would they help to sell it

    Shell is straight except where the tunnel was bet up with a sledge to fit the sr box thats why its getting this to fit my 300zx box

    see what you mean about the cage lad ,its miles away from the pillars as well
