happy days i think im off the sunday the 19th , gotta have a look at me engine in the next few days its running a bit funny since i went through a foot deep ford of water on the way to bally bofey thing the water fried an o2 sensor in exhaust but should be sweet, just doesnt feel like she did when i got it

anyone know much about engine fault codes, my cars been running weird like exhaust note is loud and bassy and i pulled this code off it P0420 Catalyst system efficiency below threshold ON 2 Catalyst ´ is this related to the cat or the o2 sensors in the exhaust cos the engine lights been on a while and only now ive seen a difference in power and general smoothness of it.
any help would be great.

Cats probably shagged , done a fair bit on them when they came out but not so much in last few years, pig of a yok for flooding up and that,

was wondering how a decat would work on the car is there an o2 sensor after the cat to check the emissions? hows that bypassed with a decat pipe. and much u recon id get stung for a new cat, thanks for the reply btw

source a decat for it and slap it on, the eml will stay on but you should notice it will run better, , make sure it has a 2nd o2 sensor port, o2 simulators don't work so a new cat will be needed for any nct/mot
