This is up to you guys. We can run aghadowey as you require. We could run drift practise up to say 1 0'clock, Competition after lunch. And if time permits finish off with more track time.

I like the sound of this, it also will leave things better for the poeple thats watching. Early practice for competition followed by the competition... Then drift away to your sick of it LOL

    @m3con

i know exactly what your saying and where your coming from, competition can be a bit off putting for some esp if they have never done it before but i think if you add all the factors together from the last event i think the comp was a success and added to the day. for the first time to run it and have so many drivers i think shows that there is room for it in aghadowey, and i would say that 50% of the drivers that took part in the comp were never involved in one before.

its a dangerous thing to get into, lol one min your tryin to keep things cheap and fun, next min you know your spending thousands and in full comp mode....STRESS

but then again its down to the individual, for me full competition is fun, yes its stressful at times but then when you are in the middle of it its hard to beat the buzz. for me a structured day is what makes it interesting, ie a few practice laps, qualifying, briefings, battles etc and to be honest i rarely take the car out now unless its a competition because to me practice (as good as it is) i get bored rather quick, esp if its wet.

Thanks Chris, I really cannot add to this. This is pretty much where we are coming from. With competition there is loads of track time. As stated before we had one guy do 77 miles on Saturday (77 Laps).

as much as some people love competitions id sugest just keeping it to the same times as last time 2 hours as alot of the people that go to aghadowey are going for practise etc as there isnt many tracks up round here that give u that for the little costs. just my suggestion

Yes practice is boring for fully built
    Proper drift cars with experienced
Drivers behind the wheel . practice days
Are for novice drivers and amateurs to
Have a days drifting without the pressure
Of spectators watching their every move
And encourages people that have never
Drifted but would love to try the opportunity
To decide for themselves if it's the sport for
Them. Jus saying events shouldn't be geared
For what is the minority if new drivers are not
Encouraged to enter it will never be thought
Of as proper sport which is why it's so hard
To get premises to hold events and keep
    Them open
