Interesting...
I remember one of the wheels he done a few years ago nearly knocked a tyre fitter on the floor in amazement as it only needed something like a 5 or 10g weight to balance it
I done a few and did some 25" wheels recently by 4" but as the chariot that they were going on does no more than 20-25mph, balancing didn't matter as much in that case... just needed to be strong as it weighs 10 tonnes, lol
CNC lathe wouldn't make much of a difference unless somebody is just cutting them with a gas-torch or grinder but an automatic pipe-welder makes a brilliant job of them.
I must see how much CIT would let the one they never use go for some day![]()
Mine keith. Feel free to post Jervis's info here too (on this thread) :P![]()
Sure you can. Im not worried about this anymore. This thread has a bitta interest anyway so fire ahead let the buyers decide :P
Banded steels can be balanced no problem. I have done a few sets and never put more the 30gs on a wheel.
I would love to get a set done for the cam but what has a 14 or 15x114.3 steel?
