under veihicle specification its says on the forth point

    Vehicle Specification
    • FF drive-train vehicles are not allowed.
    • All vehicles must be rear wheel drive (4WD to RDW conversions are permitted).
    • No fluid leaks of any kind will be tolerated.
    • Each car must maintain the OEM uni-body structure, Tube Frame/space frame Chassis are not allowed in any Prodrift Ireland Competition. Tube Frame extensions are only permitted once they are fitted in front of the most forward or rear suspension points and must not have forward facing sharp edges. Any design outside of the parameters stated must be inspected and approved by Prodrift technical scrutineers before competition. Whose decision shall be Final.• Vehicles that do not meet the above criteria must be approved by Prodrift Ireland.
    • Open roof vehicles are permitted but shall use arm restraints instead of a window or window net and should have “ X “ intrusion bars in the roof.
So where is the tube frame chassis ? The car retains the front and rear chassis legs and full sills.

Typical Ireland when you show people what can be done they and make it look like your a fool. I wonder why I bother sharing ideas and info allot of the time.

Oh and the design was passed by the Prodrift scrutineers both of them.

i dont think anybody has called you a fool, and the whole thread is full of praise for your level of work, enough of the back and forth bickering, back on topic,

Lets move on then. Trust me John and I have checked what we should and should not do to this car long before we started work let alone posting it here.

I am not looking for praise form anybody. I am also not look for interpretations on the rules.

I am allowing people to see how we are doing this so they can use our ideas on there cars even the smallest ones. Sharing of information in Motorsport use to be no existent. Everything was hidden and clouded in secrecy. We are prepared to show how some of the trick parts will be done. We welcome question and will try and answer them in as much detail as possible.

Really like the thinking with the engine mounts. Saves a lot of messing with modifying the sump.
Looking forward to seeing the suspension design on the front. Are ye going double wishbone or what's the plan?
