Engine could be fine tbh. Will stay goin as is anyway. If it goes then I'll look at the other options and have a good discussion. No time to start messing about before punch anyway.

The clutch I bought and just put in was an excedy 3 puk, cost about e350 and is a stage 2 AFAIR. Have spotted a good ACT 6 puk clutch in the states capable of 340 lbs of torque supposedly, but not sure if it would be here in time and didnt really want to spend more money on the same setup. But may just have to. Finding out on transit time hopefully today

It does sound like you got a similar exedy tbh, but sure you never know it could be fine.

The knocking has stopped yes. It may just have been from sitting up since the fire, or maybe it sucked in something, or I dont know what tbh! But for the weekend it seemed fine, no knocking as far as I could tell and power seemed fine. Got a driftworks power steering cooler kit which we didnt get time to fit. The blue smoke seen on idle when lining up if anyone saw it I think was due to one of the pipes leaking. Only happened now and again, or it could be something else of course.....
