looks well greg, id say go for a complete colour change down the line, but for now just do the same as your front bumper and paint it yourself.

Glad I said that now, because I didn't even have to go to Mondello to break up the car.

Anyways, ya, Balbriggan was pretty cool. Started off badly with a blow out on the M50 while doing 140kms in the fast lane whilst heading to the track, but Gem, Pete, Mark, and the other fella whose name I can't remember came to the rescue, with Gem sorting me out with a decent wheel and tyre after Pete tried to get me to use his spares with wire hanging out of them. lol

Then we managed to get lost thanks to Si-berry and Git and their fantastic directions.

Anyways, made it to the track eventually. I personally loved the track and how fast it was for not a huge space of land. There was a good atmosphere about the place, and the weather was amazing, so it was shaping up to be a pretty cool day.

The car ran great all day and with me finally getting to grips with the position of the hydro, it's a whole lot of fun to drive.

I had some pretty good laps and a heap of shitty spinning ones, but I wasn't very smart with the tyres I ran, and instead of sticking with what was working I decided to try different lines, practicing stuff I've watched other drivers doing, like feathering the handbrake and applying power while transitioning to keep the speed up, and trying to rub the bales...

    which ended quite badly....

But what are you going to do? It's all about practice, which is trial and error, so shit is going to go wrong at times. The damage wasn't that bad to be fair and the panel is getting pulled, and put in primer next week, and the exhaust is the only other thing that has to be sorted, so I should be back out again on the 24th for more fun and frolics.

Oh, and if one of the pro boys want to hop in as a passo and give me some tips the next day, it'd be greatly appreciated.
