    heat gun then small drop of petrol of a clean soft cloth
    you'll never know it was there

    Toffee wheel is the only answer for removing tape left from mouldings and the sticky pads that hold numberplates on, then use panel wipe for any small bits that may be left on the bodywork. Make sure and keep moving the toffee wheel or YOU WILL burn the paint.

    Petrol works a treat for getting sticky residue off.
