    Wee preview on suspenion, rear end


    Got half shafts in, and as you can see everthing else is there now,coilovers, toe, traction, lower arms, camber etc
    All I'v left to do is get 2poly bushes for the toe arms, their on route.

    Front:


    Lower arms, GTR tensions fitting lovely as seen, cambers up top, notice the size of anti-roll bar, transferred it from white car only while ago and the 1 I took out of track car was'nt even half the size!!

    Said I'd throw this up seen as it's not jus cars I work on plus this thread is mainly dedicated to butchy so basically,he & mick bought cbr 600 that needed wrk for the craic few yrs ago. the 2 lads stripped it right down,sand blasted and powder coated the frame and started from scratch again. They done serious wrk on it but sadly things changed. So Noel(Brians dad),Joe Fields and myself fin it of. It was near 3quaters mechanically done when we started.Just quick break down on story, heres the pics

    Thanks very much, it's means alot to me, them kinda comments. He would be and he's with me all the way when I'm out in it cause if that was'nt the case I'd be a lost cause behind the wheel

    Update on car, well shes 110% mechanically bang on, wel I dunno if you'd use that term, maybe cowboy would suit better haha but I hav'nt been this happy with that end of things since brought car home from being ran in & mapped end of 2010.

    Suspension wise I'm at bout 95%, happy with that also (last piece of the jig-zaw) for the min driftworks poly bushes for hubs where toe arms connect to



    having bit of trouble getting them in, so popped them in2 warm water



    Then had bit luck, in ya go



    Plan to seem weld the car in winter along with upgrading the cage so still in 2 minds bout this expanding foam, sure I might do the subframe anyways, time will tell

    The car needs new brake pads so gonna try take out the trolley during the wk
    All criticism welcome lads, like ta know where I'm goin wrong, thanks

    Update time, suspension is now 110% sorted too. Wasnt as lucky as others wen fittin subframe, it was jus slighty hittin the body but nothin the nissan hammer or sledge wouldnt sort think il get new anti-roll bar bushes & for drop links. no point cuttin corners at this stage
    As was saying badly need brake pads so

    New uprated PBR pads all round (was gonna go EBC redstuff but no matter what pads are there the hydro wont be shy bout lockin the wheels so there 100% !!)



    New Brembos discs drilled & grooved all round!


    Massive thanks to Steve (SC86) for help on this 1, absolute gentleman to deal with & very helpful!!

    no point havin a big fire and nothin to put it out with
