Right lads and lassies, small update but this is more to help other people out, any of the nissan heads out there! Today I found out an advantage when it comes to the suspension end of things, some people might know this but its got to do with tension rods
Photo
Notice the off-set on these, well there GTR tension rods, this was a simple mistake in the order that has benifited me. As in the tension rods are further out of the way for when you start advancing lock! To make them fit, the collars jus have be skimmed down couple of mm on the ball joint end so they fit.
Was just bout post them back, until Kev rang me, cheers man![]()
Another small update, another small delivery![]()
Driftworks front lower arms
Driftworks rear traction arms
This is what I was on about the tension rods above, its the ball joint end you need to take a wee bit of the collars if you get the GTR tension rods with the off-set
Would'nt think anything is done but thats Darragh again, everything is left professional! Ready to pop into car
Got the ball joint bushes pressed out on the rear hubs, where the Hi-cas use to be, ready for toe arms
Thats it for the min
seen it now niall , i wasnt on earlier serious money time n parts goin inta this epic car as it was wats it gona be like wen done :O
Thanks Stevie boi, always good for the sound, bang on comments. Well trying to increase stability as much as poss so hopefully it will handle a bit better bro. You'v got that right bout the effort & time, but I will not stop, at end of day I'm doin it for Brian, not for myself simple as. If it was for me I'd have giving up long time ago!
Keep the faith![]()
Had wee problem with the roof spoiler but this will show how safe e-bay generally is. Its as if the courier stood at back door and fired it in van!! I was delivered this!
Got on the phone straight away, at end of day it was brand new and damaged so the lads were very helpful and sound about it, so today I got suprise in post
Happy out, cheers to Rob in Madmotors, now I have 2roof spoilersand all the damaged 1 needs is bit of fillers. Could butt the 2 together and have a super roof spoiler
Ah no but e-bay is safe out cause heard on many ocasions oh I would'nt buy on the net
