is there a bleed nipple on your master cylinder??if there is you need to bleed the master clyinder first then move onto the slave clyinder....pump the pedal a few times to get the fluid around the system...then get some to hold the pedal down then you open the bleed nipple to let air an fliud out then close it an tell the person holdin the pedal to let it up an keep doin that until you get a constant stream of fluid an no air

Do you mean a bleed nipple or releasing the 10mm nut holding the steel pipe on?
I need to spend a bit of time at it, when bleeding should the nipple just barely be opened to let out air bubbles??

    Bump this back up

Alright lads I've a new problem with this.
I can't bleed the system. I'm bleeding at the master cylinder. Slave cylinder and the junction box which it goes through.
No air is coming out any where and still no clutch I've kept the master cylinder topped up all along.
I've been pumping and relesing for hours now and there's no pressure in the clutch pedal won't even bring itself up.

Would it be the master cylinder itself, maybe a seal gone would that make sense??

no you dont touch the pipe wit the 10 bolt holdin it in at all...the bleed nipple is seperate to the pipe on both the slave an master cylinder you cant miss it...you jus open it enuf to let air an brake fluid squirt out you dont have to fully unscrew it or anythin

I was at the master cylinder today and I found a flat head grub under it.
i tried to beed it there when I eventually got my arms in to get a turn on it there was no air.
I was turning it with my hand and I couldn't see it and it came off in my hand
and it won't thread back in for some reason?
i'm going to replace the master cyl.

    Btw
when this happened I was in mondello just coming back in and the clutch pedal welded itself to the floor and I had to force it back up. I don't know if that would effect the master cylinder?
