would it be using oil if the turbo was gone,is it an expensive fix, u a 100% sure just dont no much about these if some 1 says burning oil id automatically tink valve seal or rings

It would lad the seal in the turbo would be leaven the oil into the exhuast hence the blue smoke!! Leave it tick over for 20min and see does it start throwin out blue smoke on tick over!

depend on what turbo he goes for again if he went for a s15 t28r bb it could cost between 350 and 500 for one

ya excatly! and if he drives it on for a lil while the smoke shouldnt be there as much! on tick over its slowly leakin into the exhaust throught the turbo seal! s15 turbos are make 200,300 euro!

Only way to check with turbo it is is with the codes on the plate, joeybanana s14 on here has a standard s14 turbo for sale at good money
Tell your mate if the turbo goes to stop the car there and then otherwise all your engine oil will disappear and turbo will be the least of his worries

and fitting them is that a big job or isit expensive im from clonmel lik if u wanted ta see it i could bring it out , i jus wana give yhe lad a ball park figure of a turbo and fittin it if that is the problem,maybe another turbo if any off ye know what might be a better option

cheers stevo yeah lad, there is tiny plate on it if its a 15 turbo it should have the code 11411-91f00 or 11411-60f00 any other code its not s15 turbo man

dont wana sound like a mug but will he definatley know if the turbo goes lik no pull etc ye,maybe he should get it done asap as the problem has gotten worse in las 2 to 3weeks
