That setup saw around the 300bhp mark on my rb20 running on e85 at 1 bar boost with a nistune chip by Stiv. Expect to see less on 95 Ron but you'll still have a nice jump up from standard.
The ceramic blade turbo is rated to 0.8 bar. You will be taking a chance at 1 bar but there's no power at 0.8!
did you run standard ceramic turbo lad? I myt pick up a standard rb25 turbo coz my one has a bit of play so a good condition rb25 might handle the boost better.
Ya standard rb20 tubby. I've had a few different turbos on it now but the 20 turbo is sound. S15 and 2871r bb turbos blew in minutes due to oil surge problems but the 20 turbo is still going strong
300 is not great with an ecu and a bar of boost,, the boss (Robbie TDP) got 288fbhp 250whp and 290ft/lb out of my near standard 32 yesterday at .9 bar,, the car has a boost controller, fuel controller, exhaust, filter and front mount and that's it!!! Standard other than that,,, a fpr and adj actuator would do same job as the controllers and cheaper it's just they were in the car when I bought it.
And trust me it's every bit of the horsepower, tested it well last nite!!
Ha ha but sure nelly I'm going off a real dyno, not into all that tyre slip and ratchet strapping down causing wrong whp figures and drums of water in the boot causing more friction,,,!! To much bother for me to get a wrong reading and it's not great when they say themselves that it reads low I.e wrong,,,,,,, ha ha ya know me now;-)
