15w50 is discontinued now, we cannot order anymore in halfords, it doesnt meet the new standards appearently, 10w60 would b good yea, but itll b more expensive id say.

Its still being manufactured and is readily available. I have a few here €50 per 5 litre tub

but its not allowed be retailed in ireland, cos it doesnt meet the new regulations, or thats what our supplier told us!

its just mobil 1 stoped making it lad, they replaced it with 10w 60 some lads say 10w60 is to heavy for the sr engine dnt tke my word for it now but thats wat i heard

No they havent mate i can buy it direct at the moment with no issues at all. Halfords have always had problems stocking mobil 1 15w50 its always been very sporadic.

It can still be gotten.

it can still b gotton no problem alright, id say theyve thousands of boxs of it still, but they are stopping making it!! and halfords get there mobil straight from mobil all the oil comes from mobil or comma

`yes u can still buy it because u are getting wats left in stock mobil 1 themselves arent making it anymore, u can buy wats left in shops etc and when its gone they wount be able to get it back in

lad any good oil dealer knows all bout this.. their is no warehouses full anywere in ireland anyways beacause my supplier tryed getting me 50 boxes and could only get me 11
