    Cheapest option is a manual boost controller but electric wise the power fc boost solonide would prob work out the cheapest less hassel too..

    I think maybe car could have this coz as far as I know she was mapped at 1.3 bar and then was turned down to 1 bar for daily driving - is it a piggyback sort of unit or have to be soldered in???

    jus plugs into your power fc lad, theres a socket on ur pfc where it plugs in like.. think i used to have one throwin round in the shed , never used it , came wit a power fc i bought at some stage i think, ill have a look n see can i find it, if not i could have gave it to someone..

    Extreme? Yea maybe, But he was weighing up the price of a rebuild or remap haha I would love a rotary some day but storys like these are just to common for me and scare the shit out of me.

    I'm thinking now of actually getting a full remap done!!! Seeing what I can get out of it.

    I want to buy one of these boost solenoid valves now and bring down to tdp maybe??????? I want somewhere that will spend some time on it and get the most they can out of it????? Where do ya's recommend??

    I haven had mine too long but have been in with Eddie wreckin his head quite a bit now and from what he tells me a lot of it is over exadurated and they can take a lot more hardship than people give them credit for e.g my thermostat and choke were knackered the last day in Mondello and I called him in fear of doing damage, he said keep on driving and after every run just let her cool, didn't have a problem other than a couple of litres of water but the point is I brought it in to him that evening and left it there and he checked it over, fitted new parts and said she is running perfect.....just an example.....but I think it comes down to how well they are looked after as with any car
