GT2860r now fitted, but wont run properly!!

Fitted new above turbo 2day with standard s15 actuator..
Run's perfectly, but when left to tick over car WILL NOT rev..
You put your foot down and it the engine revs to 2000rpm then bac down to tick over, 2000rpm then bac down again etc etc..
But as soon as you cut the power, turn car off and start ignition again, it run's perfectly for maybe 10 15 min's then when left to tick over, Happens again...
It is very hard to explain but i hope somebody knows what it is..!!
Specs are
-Standard black top SR
-Induction
-Front mount
-De-Cat Back exhaust

Any info would be highly appreciated..

why are you reving the car / boosting if its not mapped for that turbo?

Well im guessing its not mapped for that turbo... Check all your vacume lines!

He can boost a bar with a standard map on that turbo, reving it to 2k wont even bring in the boost.
