So after this, it was time to get it into the garage and onto the ramp for another check over.
We found some bad boost pipes on intercooler so replaced these, some sparks from the alternater :wack: and some oil leaking from the relocation kit.
While on the ramp we decided it was a good idea to do some chopping and cutting to modify the steering!
Some new Tein rods and ends we "took" from Alex's project, but he offered them!
More lock
Finally.....
But all didnt go as smooth as we would have liked! Upon tightening the oil sensor in the housing... we didnt realise we made it worse, so while attempting to drive the car for the first time (off the ramp to parking area) i noticed some fluids draining under the car... A LOT!!!
While tightening the sensor it made the crack worse & spat out all the fresh oil we had just put in :smash:
But no funny noises made from the engine and it was shut off straight away.
Garage-D have a new housing waiting for us which will be collected in the morning hopefully Paul will get the time to fit it for me.
Id like to say a big thanks to Alan Green, Alex & Paul for helping me out, and Alan for spending the day today with me finishing what needed to be done before turning the key
