fukin hell lads easy on the traveller bashing this is a public forum ,ye wouldnt do that to a dog what youse talking about

    *back on topic*
i was up at the track the other and it is looking mint!all kerbs are painted safety barriers all round and grass sown and i have to say the likely hood of him letting a bunch of driftcars out to wreck that looked slim to me unfortunately
like there was two fellas out there practicing and seemingly they were the only two lads in ireland that get paid to race!they had a huge rv yoke like youd see in the f1 or something and i cant imagine theyd like to see my wagon or some garish sbody rollin in to lower the tone!

anyway on a optimistic note the day i got talking to the owner he said he was looking into the drifting and said the "clubs" would have to get together and put forward a case study or such like and approach him with it

Instead of making it legit, couldnt he let like 20 at a time only, everyone throws 50 for the day, tidy profit, and if anyone asks he could say its just all his mates.

20 ppl isnt too much, maybe 15 to be safe!!

its all well and good saying it his mates but have you ever heard them noise off 2 cars drifting dont mind 20? first complaint and he would have to knock it on the head and answer to the local Co.
not worth the risk at all untill he get the go ahead for it to be done

If the owner is looking for a case study or something along the lines to be done then one should be put forward by Driftireland.Get in the door early so that driftireland would then be able to majorly influence how things go in the future.
If the first few drift days that went on there were DI days out, that way shams and messers coming in from outside could be avoided and would put a good foothold for future or longterm DI relationship with the track owner.

Things were looking very bleak for drift days at WGH a little after it started because one day there was a load of messy shams up there in the grass for most of it and tearing the place up.
After that they were very reluctant to leave it happen again.

First impressions and all that craic.

With the way tracks are going in this country losing a minter like this would be some balls.
I can help if needed in doing a case study or whatever, working at a track where drifting has been held among other events and being "behind the scenes" and seeing what organisers/owners like and do not like, money that can be made etc. could be useful in this.
