    Lookin at buyin a 92 318is M3....will it drift?!

    no such car as a 318is m3!!...the 318is is a 1.9 iirc prob would drift

    right. Havent seen it myslef, jus got a call to stick a thread up here cs a pair a lads I know are out lookin at it...

    ...he reckons its a proper M...full leather inside nd all the M badges on the interior too....anythin in particular they should b lookin for??

    so a 1992 318....will it drift?:P its jus there a fella we know with a 318 nd he said its got a traction control / stability system jobby so he cant drift that...

    what your lookin at is a 318is m-tec not an m3!!!! and it really won't ave enough power!!! it will skid but will be alot of work!!!!

    I had an 318iS. Will slide in the wet, and probably in the dry with enough balls. Standard diff will probably try kill you though

    Man the M in questions on the 318is could just be the usual interior and styling change doing nothing to the power of the car itself. A few years ago I had a 318is for messing briefly, In the wet you may have some hope but in general you will just be chasing your tail in circles as your only form of fun. In saying that the diff would need a good weld first. This is just in my opinion.
