Ever hear people referring to BMW's as kettles? They have a serious habit of over heating. I have seen people take the termostat out and wire the fan but not sure how it worked out.

I don't reckon you should do it,
they are slow n heavy compared to other cars,
I'd say you'd have to be seriously brave on the wand to drift her nicely
fair bit of skill if ye can drift her though.....

i had a 316i would like slide in the wet and that was it my mate had a 318is with coilovers supercharger lightened flywheel not sure what else was still only 200bhp and had a two way diff and was stiff very hard to get it sliding they are heavy and only 148bhp standard all those m badges mean nothing on it wouldnt buy it myself

Iv a 318is chipped, lowerd, and a 4.10 lsd, running on 17 inch alpinas...pulling out around 150bhp ...will slide no bother in the wet with the big wheels and no problems when dry with the 15's on. never had any trouble with her boiling but have an electric fan out of a gud old festie fitted
