its was fricken savage! the whole set-up, media coverage, unbelievably organised by red bull and formula d.
He didnt do great to be honest, i think the fact he has a 700 brake monaro back in oz compared to an underpowered left hand drive supercharged z he was driving there had something to do with it:D

The teams "set-up" over there is ridiculous.
The likes of Falken there.... Mad!

Thats just it, falken toyo, nitto, bridgestone, dunlop, coopers ...the works..
The tyre companies actually appear to take a serious interest and treat it like a real sport, unlike here:rolleyes:
And tuners and aero part makers, for example, seibon came around giving out free carbon bonnets and bootlids to certain teams, wicked!!

jeeze i wouldnt say a disaster by no means, fair enough you had a few tips. think of the positives, possibly the lowest powered car there at the event and the size of the track and your qualifying was exceptional

Thats the front wheel. A muppet called Leighton Fine I think from Australia spun in front of me in practice and sat there for at least 8 seconds as I slid towards him, middle of the first corner.
Had given him loads of room but he sat there like a dope, I hit the wall trying to avoid him and then he drove off back to the pits.
Broke my front strut, bent the bottom arm and tension rod.Had to qualify with some one else's strut and front wheels with a random alignment set up, great fun after all the hassle to get there

This really was a great event, possibly the best experience of my life:) Even tho Eric and myself had bad luch I think it was still worth all the Money and hastle of getting there...It was a tuff track there and it was hard for me all weekend because i had no power steering because my steering rack was fucked.. We couldnt get a steering rack then because there was no right hand drive Silvias around LA haha Cool pics too lad:cool:
