Casting cars for feature film

Hi
We are having a casting for cars for a feature film that will be shot in sligo.We figure the best way to cast the cars is to have a meet.It will be in sligo this friday if anyone wants to know more pm me.We are looking for lead cars dark in colour ideally a 200sx amazon green they a proving hard to find the four other lead cars will also be rwd.We also need alot of cars for meeting scenes so show cars and a mix of car brands would be welcome.The film is a drama with a fantastic script its touches subjects like boy racing and the dangers of it and smuggling.

Boy racers movie involving smuggling .... Think the fast and the furious got there first!

Whos your lead actor?? Vincent green diesel and Paul ward ??? :p

The lead is from love and hate and we have many other well know actors also it is not an irish version of the fast and the furious.It is more of a dark drama.

I'm guessing that they are going to be smuggling shite across the border for most of the movie, there will be a big rivalry against either a travelling family or Carlow-Drift and the big finale will be an epic street drift race between the lead role in the S14 and Carlow-Drifter in the 600bhp cut n' shut Capri while smuggling more shite across the border. The race comes to a tragic end when C-D's car overboosts from the Scania turbo running 92Psi and the welds tear along the chassis resulting in the car breaking into two pieces and C-D exploding. In the same drift race the S14 will change between a mallard Green Ford Escort and a Blue Mondeo.

There will also be several scenes involving V-Tec kicking in and some one using nitrous.

My daughter has the perfect skidder, stance, the used and abused look, JDM bummer cable ties etc. She even had a snap off kit and Trust Grex gear knob but she sold them for a squeeky giraffee.

This is her running the fire place at home, f**kin destroyed the ziptied bottle on the next lap! She's fair good at doing rings too.

He got some overnight parts from Japan and runs NOS but this has the uprated manifold and the floortray has been bolted on rather than riveted. It also has Tomei Pon Cams so it goes like fuck.

Fucking hell. This looks like it's basically King of the Ring on film.

Lord have mercy if the trailer for this muck makes it to tv! It's going to start back up the old boy racer arguments again, especially once it's feature on the Late Late Show.

I hope the ending is that all the cars explode while they're doing hoops and buns by the sea. The cause for all the explosions will be put down to a sequence of fortunate events. Those being that the fuel lines on the 200sx and AE86 corrode so badly from the sea air that fuel starts spraying all over the other cars. Then they all blow up when one of the lads goes down to the wire on his tyres, creating sparks which alight the spilt fuel, destroying everything.

At least that's what I hope happens

I must say what a negative response why??? And no this is not for youtube this is a feature film which has now been shot.Just wondered why such a negative response to this post i am a car lover myself i also happen to work in the film industry whats wrong with that?I posted this to get some people interested in cars to give some input and have their cars featured.I wanted to make a film will a strong irish car scene and as close to real life as possible.I will not be making the same mistake again by posting on this site.

The problem is the way that the the majority of the general public portray the car scene in Ireland with a stereotype exactly like you are portraying in your feature film; this gets on lads nerves when they try so hard to not be associated with chav's and there Honda civic's going bap bap bap driving up and down the town 50 times a night!
I understand its fictional, but if its televised its just another bad thing for car enthusiasts in Ireland because its based on so called "illegal street racing" which is a load of bull.
The majority on here want to push drifting forward in a positive light as a credible motorsport and not be associsated or givne the same bad stereotype as what you are basing your film on.
This is not me having a go either, just giving the possible reason why you won't get much interest on here.

Suggestion, make a feature film or documentary on drifting in Ireland????
